It hasn't gone away!   We are still subjected daily to highly toxic and unethical levels of fluoride in our water and it's not needed.   Fluoride cannot reach the teeth by ingestion, that is a lie, it can help to reduce decay in teeth by being topically in tooth paste!   So why are the United Kingdom Health Authorities STILL putting fluoride in the water under the name of "health care"?   They have no answers.   They can't answer it because they have been told by the Government that they HAVE to.  In fact fluoride is a highly dangerous poison.

BEWARE of ONLINE PETITIONS - What are you signing ?????

ONLINE PETITIONS - Be careful what you are signing!

I was made aware today on my face book wall of an online petition looking for supporters against a new directive to be put in place by the EU in 2011. This online petition had been designed to shock! Have you come across websites, usually American, trying to sell you an ebook, course, CD’s, the style that are full of hypobole, large, brightly coloured type faces, closely followed by the “but wait……” and an offer of something else free before you leave? Well, this ipetition came across to me, a member of the general public and a website designer, as what I call an ‘my homepage made with frontpage’ amateur affair.

Designed only to scare the reader into believing that in 2011 we will no longer be able to buy vitamins, any vitamins, or herbal remedies of any kind. The petition was called ‘the nation speaks - No! Not in my name‘. Shocking statements are made stating, “We are signing, to honour those who fought to protect the freedoms we stand to loose” I will pass on the incorrect grammar, but I will ask the question “who fought, and what did they fight?” Then two further scary words in bold “strict censorship”, designed to scare the reader again.
So what is this rather silly petition all about? In 2004 a new legislation was established to provide a regulatory approval process for herbal medicines in the EU, there was previously nothing formal in place, which meant each EU member state could put their own legislation in place if they wished to. Prior to 2004, anyone could jump on the band wagon and produce herbal medicines with no real control. In short, this means that if were manufacturing a herbal remedy which was already in use prior to 2004 you had until 30th April 2011 to licence that product and fall into line with the 2004 legislation. Any new products since Aptil 2004 could not be marketed without adhering to this EU directive and licensed. Under the 'traditional herbal, medicinal, products directive' a company would need to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the herbal product in question.

I was on my facebook page the other day and one of my good friends shared an Ultravox song.  Reminiscing  about my early teens I went to have a look on Youtube and I found an Ultravox piece of music that I had completely forgotten about, but new all the words to, that was worrying after nearly 30 years!!!

Listening to the words and watching the original video I realised how true the symbolism of Hymn by Ultravox still affects us today.  Many of UVox's lyrics were about what was going on at that time, threats of Nuclear war, Russia, China, etc.

SOME DEEPER ASPECTS OF MASONIC SYMBOLISM

THE subject which I am about to approach is one having certain obvious difficulties, because it is outside the usual horizon of Masonic literature, and requires, therefore, to be put with considerable care, as well as with reasonable prudence. Moreover, it is not easy to do it full justice within the limits of a single lecture. I must ask my Brethren to make allowance beforehand for the fact that I am speaking in good faith, and where the evidence for what I shall affirm does not appear in its fullness, and sometimes scarcely at all, they must believe that I can produce it at need, should the opportunity occur. As a matter of fact, some part of it has appeared in my published writings.

I will introduce the question in hand by a citation which is familiar to us all, as it so happens that it forms a good point of departure:- "But as we are not all operative Masons, but rather Free and Accepted or speculative, we apply these tools to our morals." With certain variations, these words occur in each of the Craft Degrees, and their analogies are to be found in a few subsidiary Degrees which may be said to arise out of the Craft- as, for example, the Honourable Degree of Mark Master Mason. That which is applied more specially to the working implements of Masonry belongs to our entire building symbolism, whether it is concerned with the erection by the Candidate in his own personality of an edifice or "superstructure perfect in its parts and honourable to the builder," or, in the Mark Degree, with a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens, or again with Solomon's Temple spiritualized in the Legend of the Master Degree.

A SYSTEM OF MORALITY

It comes about in this manner that Masonry is described elsewhere as "a peculiar system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols". I want to tell you, among other things which call for consideration, something about the nature of the building, as this is presented to my mind, and about the way in which allegory, symbols and drama all hang together and make for one meaning. It is my design also to show that Craft Masonry incorporates three less or more distinct elements which have been curiously interlinked under the device of symbolical architecture. That interlinking is to some extent artificial, and yet it arises logically, so far as the relation of ideas is concerned.

There is, firstly, the Candidate's own work, wherein he is taught how he should build himself. The method of instruction is practical within its own measures, but as it is so familiar and open, it is not, properly speaking, the subject-matter of a Secret Order. There is, secondly, a building myth, and the manner in which it is put forward involves the Candidate taking part in a dramatic scene, wherein he represents the master-builder of Masonry. There is, thirdly, a Masonic quest, connected with the notion of a Secret Word communicated as an essential part of the Master-Degree in building. This is perhaps the most important and strangest of the three elements; but the quest after the Word is not finished in the Third Degree.

How to Find Your Soul Mate

Have you found your Soul Mate yet?

So, now you have read and I hope completely understood Soul Groups, Soul Mates, and Twin Flames here is what can happen next.

There is a code of conduct here regarding Soul Mates. You need to be a step or two removed from them, by this I mean don’t expect to find your soul mate, fall in love and live happily ever after in bliss. I have seen many “spiritual magazines” cover Soul Mates in the past with hears, flowers and love. If you have learned anything it is that your Soul Mate could be a friend, lover, sister, brother, teacher and you have all had lives in past together in different relationships. The only reason you are “in tune” is the synchronicity of energy, we are after all energy and light beings and if we away our heavy bodies we communicate with energy and vibration.

So, that said, how do you find your Soul Mate?

There are a few ways:-

• If you feel you would like guidance then using a regression or hypnotherapist trained in this area is always the best. This gives you a safe environment to relax in and guided meditations to get you where you need to be. Usually they record in either note form or an actual recording of your voice too, which is useful in the future for you to look back on.
• CD - A few therapist have recorded a CD that you can listen to. This are not always successful. I have tried a few with varying degrees of success.
• Personal Meditation - this is great for anyone experienced in meditation and concentrating the mind. Keep reading for instructions on how to….

My personal favourite is the first one as under the care of a professional you can be assured of accessing your soul group and soul mate. A Professional will help you at your speed and keep you concentrated and talking about your experience. But, you can have a go yourself. All you have to have is the word “intent” and then believe in yourself and your high-consciousness to help you find one of your soul mates from the past.

I can’t really tell you how you will know. I haven’t yet had an experience where fireworks have exploded all over the sky, but I did have a eureka moment with one of my new friends recently. When I offered to help them find someone they were seeking out, we ended up realising we were soul mates from the past. There was an element of confusion for a while as they thought one thing and I thought another, but over a period of a few weeks I worked out I wasn’t the person whom they thought. The one good thing it did help was me to focus on a time frame and an area of my past lives. I haven’t yet worked out who we were and what our relationship was, but this is not important. What was important is helping someone else achieve their goal.

Here’s the “How To” bit….

I therefore suggest all you need to do is practice meditation and protection, a lot! When you are in a position to be able to connect easily with your higher self and concentrate on working at that level then send out a call to your Soul Mate(s). Just ask them to come to you. Yep, it’s as simple as that…………..

“I ask that any of my soul mates be revealed to me in the life time so that we can learn from and help each other as we promised to always do when the time was right”.

In saying this you are asking generally for a soul mate to come and find you and help you on your path. Now look out for signs, it won’t happen over night, well actually it could, but be prepared for it to take a while. Watch out for signs of synchronicity in any form, remember they could be one of your best friends or an old teacher from school - yeah remember the one you didn’t like with the wig? That could be one! Don’t try and manifest a Soul Mate for a relationship you will come very un-stuck!

Soul Mate or Twin Flame

Soul Mate or Twin Flame?

I often hear people mention that their current partner, husband or wife is their soul mate, but what many people have never thought about is the same synchronicity between friends.

A Soul Mate is part of an overall group that you originally came from when you came into existence.  In your past lives you may have been related to each other in different ways, mother, father, sister, cousins, friends, your current children could have been your peers.  In what ever capacity you have chosen to incarnate for the human experience, you choose together to come back and support each other.  You also may leave other members of your Soul Group behind to watch over you and guide you on your path.

Not everyone returns to human form with their soul mate, and further more not all Soul Mates find each other again.  It all depend on what you need to learn from each other, what you are to learn from other people you encounter throughout your experience on earth and what you are to teach others.

The most popular phrase I have hear is, “I have found my soul mate”, meaning a physical, loving relationship, and these are probably the most common, but they are not always this way.  Despite you finishing off each other’s sentences, liking the same food, holidays, friends, etc, many relationships between soul mates can be painful and far from loving and others can be very distant.  Your soul mate could be living a “darker path” and perhaps needs you to help them see the light and vice versa.  You will learn so much from your soul mate relationships, some will be incredibly painful, others total bliss.

Therefore a Soul Mate can easily be a close friend whom you never have a sexual relationship with, but still love unconditionally.  The time may not be right for either soul to be together again, they may have to remain as friends to learn something from each other and come back in another lifetime to achieve the union.   I once met two people who had all the attributes of Soul Mates, everything fell into place, but the time wasn’t right, they were both married with children.  There was a huge sexual attraction, but they remained in control of themselves and rather than separating from their partners they worked through the lesson they had to face.  I learned many years later that they did eventually end up together when one of their partners ended the marriage.  Don’t get me wrong here, there was a lot of pain and discomfort, it was not an easy ride of either side knowing the love and synchronicity they had for their Soul Mate, but they had lessons to learn from someone else.  This is why finding your soul mate is not based on sexual attraction.  It’s all about the experience and the moment.

Twin Flames, Twin Souls, or Twin Rays

This is the ultimate union that all souls seek, to find their twin.

When the creation of your soul came about you were originally one, then split into two, and then joining a Soul Group.  The separation was to form the yin and yang balance of male and female energy.  No soul can survive without both.  It is said that the male energy is 60% masculine and 40% feminine and the female is reversed.  This can seem pretty daunting to most people, but if you can reach the balance within yourself and within your relationship it is a most wonderful and blissful feeling.   The twin flame is part of the divine trinity of three and you will re-connect back to Divine spirit.   The twin flame cannot exist in a co-dependent, ego-based relationship, they cannot live within jealousy, fear of losing one another, issues of separation and lack of love.  They must both be independent from each other and able to survive without each other successfully.  They will need to have had many experiences, and healed themselves of all that is negative within a relationship and helped to heal others, balance their energy and often face long periods of separation whilst they maintain the strength in themselves and in each other.  Before they can join they must solid as rocks in every part of their being.  Letting go of all insecurities, worries, fears, anger.  Once this period is completed then the two souls can look to integrate in unconditional love.

Not all twin souls will find each other and unite on earth.  In fact it’s very rare, but with the new energies and the higher levels of vibrations available more Souls are coming back together again to share in the ascension experience.  Before you go rushing off to build a “Twin Flame Detector” and offer you services of finding them, some twin flames may not even be on the earth plane at the same time, they could be in another reality or consciousness gaining further experience to bring back to the “one-ness” at a later time.

There is a deep psychic synchronicity to twin flames far bigger than Soul Mates.  They will know how the other feels at anytime, will finish sentences and share the same interests on many levels and feel they just belong to each other unconditionally as part of something far greater - once again without the need for a sexual relationship, but in true unconditional love.  There is no separation between them, they are each other, they are lost without each other.  Synchronicity is like Divine Spirit prodding you both to wake up and see each other for who you are - you will know if you have found your Twin Flame. Remember you have had many lifetimes together experiencing as much as possible and may have many more.  You will use the experiences you have learned and gained in helping others, especially in the Ascension.

Have You Met Yours Yet ?

I have been asked by  many people how would they know if they had met their Twin Flame, to which I have replied, “if you are asking me this, then you haven’t yet”.  The meeting of your Twin Flame will be so profound, so moving you will just “know”, you will feel both your heart chakras bursting out of your chest in deep love for them.  BUT, even though you may find each other it doesn’t mean you are have both evolved enough to pair up    The longing and desire to be with your Twin Soul is intense, but it is not to be confused in anyway with a desire to ”possess” or to be obsesses with you other half.  It is how you face the challenge of loving someone unconditionally.

So, there you have it.  This is obviously my opinion and interpretation given to me by spirit over several years.  As we evolve so the vibrations of Soul Mate and Twin Flame change, and these vibrations are also changing with the Ascension of Earth.

Wedding Photos Banned in Church

I have just learned today that a local church down here in Devon has banned photos inside the church?


Why?


The church is a public building so how can the Vicar or Church ban photos from being taken?
There is no underlying reason.  Don't think for one moment that this is because the flash on cameras is damaging ancient stone work or paintings - no, they would be mistaking themselves there with the tombs in the valley of the kings!  No, this is all about money.


The church has told a bride that if any of her family are found taking photos in the church they will be fined £60. WHAT?   


So where does this leave the bride?  Well, is this enforceable?  Can the church as owners of the freehold ban photos inside the church?  


The main photo that most people have in their house is 'signing of the register', is that now banned?


I will investigate this further!

A Brief Meaning of Easter

There are several meanings about the origin of Easter, but the most persuasive argument appears to come from an English Monk, the Venerable Bede.   In his De Temporum Ratione, (the Reckoning of Time), completed in the 8th century it is the first written reference to the spring goddess Eostre.  Bede says the Pagan Anglo-Saxons called April ‘Eosturmonath’ after the goddess ‘Eostre’  and they celebrated feasts in her honour.

Bede isn’t the only theory.  In 1835 Jacob Grimm, one half of the Brother’s Grimm, relates his belief that Easter was linked with Ostara,  a Germanic goddess of the dawn.

Nearly every culture has it’s own way of celebrating the end of Winter and beginning of Spring.  The Christians were a clever lot though, they knew they had a better chance of converting people if they could give them annual festivals that mimicked old traditions.  They simply turned the ancient spring festival into the Christian Easter, marking Jesus’ return from the dead, which is taken from the symbolic death and rebirth of Osiris.  Today, the Pagan celebration is a major event once more.  Usually called Ostara, it’s one of the eight main annual festivals of the Wiccan year.

Easter is linked to the Jewish Passover by much of its symbolism, as well as by its position in the calendar.  In most European languages the feast called Easter, in English, is termed by the words for Passover in those languages and in the older English versions of the Bible the term Easter was the term used to translate Passover.

The idea of giving chocolate eggs first took place in the US during WW2.  The Easter bunny comes from different stories one being about Eostre being late arriving one spring and was very upset to find a poor bird had almost frozen to death because of the longer than normal winter.  The goddess resurrected the bird and in the shape of a hare named Lepus and mindful of his ornithological origins, gave him the power to lay eggs once a year at the spring equinox which is where the Easter Bunny and finding eggs comes from as children believed that Lepus.   The Romans believed that "All life comes from an egg." Christians consider eggs to be "the seed of life" and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Another story is from the fact that a hare’s fertility cycle is roughly 28 days, the same as the Lunar cycle.  The Lunar cycle helps to determine when Easter should fall - typically it’s the first Sunday after the first full moon following the Spring Equinox.
The ancient Egyptian heiroglyph for the verb ‘to exist’ is a hare, whilst the Romans believed that eating the animal’s flesh would boost your attractiveness to the opposite sex for nine days.

So there we go a VERY brief view of the origins of Easter.

Charities That Bribe

Today my Mum received an envelope from a charity. Inside the the envelope, personally to her, so sold on by another charity she probably does donate to, there was the usual gumph, and a One Decade Rosary and instructions on how to use it. The words were all varying on the theme of “it's your fault if you let these children down” - you know the usual rubbish they attempt to emotionally blackmail people with?


My mother isn't a catholic. In fact, like me, she follows her own path and doesn't need to be dictated to and controlled, or ask forgiveness of her sins!


What makes me really annoyed with these charities who use campaigns like this is THEY are the ones failing. They are so wound up in red tape, trying to invade countries and tell them how to run their services and/or government, dictating their own religion, and paying their staff HUGE salaries to do this. They spend most of their donations on other services. Each year a charity has to make public it's accounts on the internet through the Charities Commission website or on their own website. Have you ever asked for a copy to see where the money is going from the charity you support? Remember Charities are spending Public donated money and are legally obliged to let the public know where their money has gone!


I am a trustee for a charity and we are all volunteers. EVERY penny we receive into our bank provides the medicines required to save Mother's and Baby's lives, no-one takes a salary, we do not interfere with the countries government, we just show the hospitals how to save lives, where to get medicines from and fund them for a short while until they are on their feet. We are first aid and save lives without paying a single trustee!


So, what did my Mum do? She put a note in asking to be removed from their mailing list, packed everything into their own pre-paid envelope and posted it back to them. Unlike me, I would have put it all in a large A4 envelope and sent it back without a stamp, they would have to pay at least £1.50 on it's arrival, which may make them think twice about how they campaign people.


If charities did what they “say on the tin”, then maybe we wouldn't be so offended by their “emotionally blackmailing stealth tactic” fund-raising campaigns.


People will give if they want to, which was proved by the Haiti appeal, Comic Relief, Children in Need and Sport Relief. I believe the British are the biggest and best fundraisers and we will continue to do whatever we can to help those less fortunate in a positive and fun way. In the UK we love nothing more than a bloody good “Rally Round”.

The Sly World of Reiki Attunements!

When I became a Reiki Practitioner I believed in paying for the service. My attunements were also hands on, in a group over a weekend spent with people chatting about how Reiki was working for us and how we were using it in our lives to help ourselves and others. I studied Universal Energies and went on to become a Master Teacher who uses these Universal Energies in every day life. I am also in favour of attunements through chi-balls and the call-in method which fits in fantastically with people's lives. Energy is energy and it will happily wait around in the universe for you to go grab it at a time that suits you. Positive manipulation of energy is a good thing!

What I do find interesting is the amount of attunements people now have, a few people I have seen on ebay are selling them for a couple of quid and yet probably haven't a clue what they are using or in fact selling on. If people are attuned into 100 different energy levels, will we run out of energy, symbols or forms of attunements soon? Are people just making them up to make a fast buck and sell them on to others for the same purpose? Yes, I have seen these too.

I have received some terrible, cheap, thrown together .pdf manuals that quite frankly my Laptop was embarrassed to open! Then there is the "after attunement service" - well when you have paid £6 for an attunement do you really expect an answer back from the person whom attuned you? No, you shouldn't, because they won't as they firstly haven't a clue what they have attuned you to, secondly haven't used the attunement themselves so have no concept of using it or anything about it's energy, and thirdly, they have your money........so what????

If you see someone in the UK with the words Dr, Reverend or any other title using it to sell something spiritual, it means nothing in the UK. It's just a title given by joining a group or church in the US......I know, as I have one........oh yes, it's amazing what titles I have that mean NOTHING!

Now on a more positive note, there are some serious people out there working with Reiki, you will find whom they are as they generally only work with one type of energy level. Those working with 60-100+ different attunements are still trying to find their path and I would say are quite lost on it too, or just make money from ebay! Use your gut instinct, you will know if someone feels right.

Don't be fooled, even the spiritual world is full of con-merchants into making money and they pass that negative energy on to you too!

With the full moon over the last couple of nights and today we have sun and a beautiful blue sky it makes Imbolc all the more special. Although there are a couple more months left of Winter it's days like today that make you realise you are not just walking down a dark tunnel of winter with the tax man standing at the end waving a torch!!!

Celebrating Imbolc

Imbolc – Northern Hemisphere Celebrations

If you live in the Northern Hemisphere and look out your window you may start to notice snowdrops and crocus' starting to appear and the return of daylight as the sun sets later in the day. 1st February has been adopted by many across the world as a day to celebrate. You don't have to be Wiccan or Pagan to do so either.

Imbolc which is known to start around January 29th right through to February 3rd derived it's name from Oimelc (sheep's mik). It is a time of cleansing and renewal of all things and falls half way between the Winter Solstice (21st December) and Spring Equinox (21st March). The date has an astronomical position in the Northern hemisphere when the sun reaches fifteen degrees of Aquarius.

It is known by many different names as over the centuries the festival has been plagerised by religions adapting it to suit themselves. It doesn't matter what you believe or how you celebrate as long as you do so in a positive way. It's all about cleaning out the old, and preparing for Spring. Some of my Wiccan friends will be cleaning up their houses, paying their tax bill online by January 31st and then holding a party serving up lovely foods made from vegetables that have been stored since harvest and also beans, breads and grains. I can see the pot now simmering away on the Aga and fresh bread ready for dipping – yummy!

I light extra candles to bring back the light of Spring, when my step-children were young we made crafts using red and white fabrics. We had red candles and used our own magickal oils to anoint them which was great fun for them to prepare. We also hunted down crocus and snowdrops from garden centres that were in bloom and then transferred them into the garden later on – occasionally they even remembered to plant them early enough to be in bloom in time, but that was always “hit and miss”.

I am lucky to live in North Devon where our micro-climate of living at the foothills of Exmoor allows us slightly warmer and sadly a lot damper weather most of the year round, but it does bring the bulbs out a lot quicker.

Above all, it's a great time to celebrate again with friends and family and enjoy the start of Spring.

New Ebay Store

I have finally got my store running on ebay. I am adding new items each day. Not sure if I will get this one to Gold Power Seller like my other account, but I will give it a try!

Lots of metaphysical, Wiccan, Pagan, Angels, Chakras, Reiki to be added in each week. I have some lovely contemporary oil burners too, with a fabulous free oil called Angel Wings; really lovely smell. Most of my items are now with free P&P too.
