After taking nearly a year out from ebay to sell off my horses I have re-opened my online shop again. I am still selling my lovely angel statues, busts and the most stunning votive candle holders in the shape of angel wings. I have cards by Josephine Wall, room fragrancers, and oil burners.
I hope to be adding lots more over the next few months and am now adding in my husbands photographic art as well, which is just amazing.

Unpaid Overtime - How much are you owed?
I have just been reading a very good article on MSN explaining how 1 in 5 people are working unpaid overtime every week and losing out on an average of £5,485 in salary per year.
According the the TUC 5.26 million people worked an average of 7 hours and 12 minutes unpaid overtime per week. YES, per week!
Apart from the lost hours of downtime that everyone needs for their own well being and family there is the loss of financial compensation for these hours and this has a knock on effect into the economy. The only person who is winning is your employer who has successfully achieved 1/5th of their staff to work for nothing! There is an element of give and take in most situations, but I still find these figures concerning.
Are you one of these employees?
Let's imagine you have been giving away an hour or two a day in unpaid overtime hoping that the "extra mile" you have given may be spotted by management as potential for training or perhaps a salary rise the following year. In the meantime your family or personal downtime is suffering badly, which in turn can cause stress (bearing in mind that no-one can give you stress, it's self imposed). Also there is the loss in financial reward because if you had an extra £5,000 a year and paid that into an ISA in 10 years time it could be worth about £75,000 based on 6% growth.
What do you do now?
Well firstly look at your job, is there any remote chance of you gaining a £5,485 next year in either a pay rise or a change in position within your company?
Probably not!
So, simply STOP!
Whilst you, and millions of others are giving away "yourself" you will never be probably never be noticed, unlikely to be thanked, and you will never receive a pay rise. Although you may be lucky to receive is a reasonable reference from your boss or company that stated you turned up and worked well whilst employed!

Feluccas on the Nile at Luxor
If you have ever had an epiphany and realised that it's about time you "lived the dream", then you may be interested in reading about my friend Hazel and her fabulous lifestyle in Luxor, Egypt.
Hazel is a Reiki Master and owns her own Felucca, (traditional Egyptian boat) on the Nile where she offers day trips for both spiritual & healing purposed, but also fishing or just generally "messing about on the river". It's a fabulous way to see Luxor and surrounding daily life from a different angle.
If you are visiting Luxor and have an action packed week of sight seeing and would like a day off, then I recommend Hazel's boat, with lunch just chilling on the river in traditional style.
